Overview

This project focuses on the end-to-end creation of a professional Shelf Talker (Hablador) for a beauty product line. The goal was to develop a high-impact retail display by integrating custom 3D modeling, high-end photo retouching, and precise technical pre-press engineering to ensure a flawless physical product.

Challenge

Standard product photography often lacks the flexibility needed for dynamic retail layouts, and colors can shift significantly during the printing process. The challenge was to create hyper-realistic product assets from scratch and prepare a complex technical file that would maintain 100% brand color accuracy and structural integrity once die-cut and folded.

Approach

I implemented a comprehensive "3D-to-Print" workflow:

  • Modeling: Created custom 3D containers in Blender for perfect perspective.

  • Calibration: Executed advanced color grading in Photoshop to align the digital assets with the brand's CMYK identity.

  • Engineering: Built the final production file in Illustrator, incorporating technical spot colors for dielines and fold creases to eliminate manufacturing errors.

  • Outcome: Successfully transitioned from a digital concept to a high-quality physical retail piece.

The following image shows the design process from 3D rendering and color calibration to the final artwork for printing.
